Man arrested in England following attempted murder in Belfast
POLICE in England have arrested a 25-year old man as part of the investigation into the attempted murder of two police officers in Belfast earlier this week.
Two pipe bombs were thrown at the police officers after they responded to a 999 call in the Ballysillan are of Belfast on Tuesday morning but they were unharmed.
Early today police arrested a man in Shrewsbury and he will be taken to Northern Ireland for further questioning.
A woman (27) arrested in Belfast on Wednesday remains in custody.
