Man arrested in connection with murder of man found in slurry tank

A man in his forties has been arrested this evening in connection with the investigation into the murder of Bobby Ryan.

Mr Ryan's body was found in a disused slurry tank at the rear of a property at Fawnagowan, Tipperary town on the April 30, last year.

It was discovered almost two years after he went missing.

The arrested man is currently detained at Tipperary Town Garda Station.

A 45-year-old woman who was arrested yesterday remains in custody.
