A man was arrested after gardai seized a batch of cannabis plants worth more than €100,000 yesterday afternoon.

The seizure was made during a planned search of a house at Athlacca, Bruff yesterday afternoon.

The man, aged in his early twenties, was arrested at the scene.

The cannabis plants discovered have an estimated street value of up to €115,000, pending analysis, gardai report.
