Man arrested after drugs seized

Cocaine worth 150,000 euro has been seized

Cocaine and cannabis with an estimated street value of 170,000 euro have been seized following a raid in west Dublin.

Gardai investigating the sale and supply of controlled drugs in the Ronanstown and Lucan areas recovered the drugs along with a firearm and ammunition in a house in the Balgaddy area on Tuesday.

A 37-year-old man was arrested at the scene and detained at Ronanstown Garda Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act of 1996.

The cocaine seized during the search has been valued at around 150,000 euro and the cannabis at around 20,000 euro.
