Man arrested after €886k drug seizure in Dublin

Gardai arrested a man in his thirties following a massive seizure of drugs in Blanchardstown, Dublin today.
Gardai and the Divisional Drug Unit seized the drugs with a street value of over €800,000 at a house in Blanchardstown this afternoon.
A total of 300,000 Zopiclone Tablets (with an estimated street value of €600,000), 280,000 Diazepam Tablets (with an estimated street value of €280,000), heroin (with an estimated street value of €3,600) and cannabis (with an estimated street value of €2,400) were seized during the operation.
The arrested man is currently detained at Blanchardstown Gards Station under Section 2 of the Criminal Justice (Drug Trafficking) Act, 1996.
