The Spanish national is being held at Wexford garda station following the bust earlier at Rosslare Europort.

Customs officers stopped a car rolling off a ferry from France. They brought in a sniffer dog and he nosed out the drugs which were deeply concealed in the car.

A Revenue spokesman said the haul had an estimated street value of €355,000.
