Man (59) faces charges after alleged cocaine seizure at Heuston Station

A MAN has appeared in court on drugs charges after he was arrested at Heuston Station on Monday.
Ronald Walsh (59) was arrested at Heuston Station yesterday and brought before Dublin District Court where he was charged with six drugs offences.
The charges follow an alleged seizure of drugs at the station and another at a follow-up search at a house in Limerick.
He was remanded in custody with consent to bail, to appear in court again next week.
Mr Walsh, with an address at Hilltop, St Patrick's Road, Limerick, is charged with possession of cocaine with intent to sell or supply at Heuston Station yesterday. He is also charged with simple possession of cannabis at the same time and place.
Four further counts relate to his home address in Limerick. These charges are that he had cocaine and cannabis with intent to sell or supply, as well as simple possession of both drugs.
All the charges are under Sections 3 and 15 of the Misuse of Drugs Act.
Mr Walsh was granted bail but remanded in custody until he takes it up and is to appear in Cloverhill District Court on February 26 next.
The accused had been arrested after getting off a train and was taken to Kevin Street garda station under section 2 of the Drug Trafficking Act. He was questioned by officers throughout yesterday.
