Man (36) extradited from Amsterdam and to be charged in connection with Ciaran Noonan murder probe

A 36-year-old man was extradited from Amsterdam to Ireland on foot of a European Arrest Warrant last night.

He is expected to appear before the Courts of Criminal Justice this morning charged in connection with the Ciaran Noonan murder investigation.

The body of Ciaran Noonan was discovered in a field in Tullaghmeaden, Co Meath on the November 4, 2011.

Mr Noonan's body was found following searches spanning across a few days.
