Man (35) recovering after being shot in housing estate

A man has been injured following a shooting at a housing estate in Louth.
The 35 year old man received non life-threatening injuries in the attack, which occurred in a laneway in the Moneymore Estate in Drogheda, Co Louth yesterday at around 6pm.
He was taken to Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda where he is receiving treatment.
Gardai at Drogheda have launched an investigation and the scene has been preserved. Gardai are appealing for witnesses to contact them at 041-9874200, the Garda Confidential line at 1800 666111.
