Man (25) killed, another injured in early morning crash
A 25-year-old man has died and a second man has been injured after an early morning crash in Co Donegal.
The victim died at the scene of the incident on the N56 between Kilmacrennan and Termon just before 7am.
Gardai say no other vehicle was involved.
The front seat male passenger, also aged in his 20s, was taken to Letterkenny General Hospital but his injuries are not life-threatening.
Power to some homes in the area was cut off after the BMW car struck an electrcity pole.
The road has been closed to allow for a forensic examination.
The incident has led to traffic chaos in the area, the road is the main route into Letterkenny from villages and towns in the north and north west of the county.
