Man (20) released without charge by gardai investigating Gerard Donnelly's murder

A 20-year-old man has been arrested

A 20-year-old man has been released without charge by gardaí investigating the murder of Gerard Donnelly whose body was discovered in the Phoenix Park, Dublin last November.

The man was arrested yesterday morning in Dublin’s north inner city and was detained under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984, at Finglas Garda Station.

A 27-year-old male is currently charged and before the courts in relation to this case.

Gardai discovered the body of Mr Donnelly, who is believed to be in his late 30s from Dublin, in the Phoenix Park.
