Make the leap beyond a cupla focal
MOST Irish people have a cupla focal, but now a new range of Irish language courses will be aiming to boost people's ability to speak as Gaeilge.
Sibéal Davitt (pictured), sean-nós dancer and TV personality, yesterday launched Gaelchultur's Irish language spring 2012 evening classes for adults.
Held in six venues around the country -- Dublin, Carlow, Cork, Limerick, Mullingar and Sligo -- the classes are aimed at all level of speakers, with eight different levels on offer.
Classes can be booked at gaelchultúr.com or by calling 014845220.
An e-learning site -- ranganna.com -- is also aiming to give learners all over the world the opportunity to attain a higher standard of Irish.
