'Major delays' and traffic 'at a standstill' following M50 crash

Traffic was at a "standstill" following a single-car collision on the M50 on Saturday morning.
The crash occurred between Junction 13 Sandyford and Junction 12 Firhouse.
One person was assessed by a paramedic at the scene and brought to hospital as a precaution, but gardai confirmed to Independent.ie that there were no injuries.
AA Roadwatch were reporting "major delays" in the area and said the hard shoulder was also affected by the incident.
The incident has since been cleared.
One report on social media described the traffic as being "at a standstill".
Emergency services including Dublin Fire Brigade attended the scene of the collision.
Weather in the capital was extremely wet this morning with heavy and consistent rain showers.
AA Roadwatch are warning motorists about surface water and have pleaded with drivers to drive carefully.
