Luas works in Dublin city centre have been postponed due to scheduling issues.
The phase of works were due to take place for nine weeks from Monday, October 5.
Marlborough Street was set to be closed from Parnell Street to Cathal Brugha Street.
Diversions were planned for the road closure.
A spokesperson for Luas Cross City Constuction Works said the delay is due to a scheduling issue.
"This phase of works was due to happen on Monday, but it's been delayed because of a simple scheduling issue," they said.
It is understood the works could be delayed by a fortnight.
