Loyal fans snap up 150 free tickets

ABOUT 350 Irish fans are expected in the Ference Puskas stadium for tonight's game against Hungary and around half of those will get in for free.

The FAI offered 150 free tickets on a first come, first served basis as a token of appreciation for them making the extra trek to Budapest. The freebies were snapped up. A match ticket costs around €30.

Fans are being warned to be wary of rip-off taxi drivers, and will have been slightly spooked by small neo-Nazi demonstrations.
