FOR the second time in recent weeks’, a EuroMillions lottery player in Ireland has hit the jackpot.

IRELAND has been struck by EuroMillions lotto luck once again.

For the second time in recent weeks, a EuroMillions lottery player in Ireland has hit the jackpot.

The lucky winner or possible syndicate will share in the €25.6m jackpot with a player in Spain.

They will take home a cheque for a whopping €12,801,474.

The winning numbers were 11, 23, 25, 32, 37, and the lucky stars were 4 and 7.

The National Lottery swiftly moved to tell the winner to immediately sign the back of the ticket and ensure it is in a safe place.

However, Lotto chiefs were keeping schtum on the exact location of the retail outlet that sold the lucky ticket as rumours swiftly began to emerge on social media.

There was also a winning ticket sold for the EuroMillions Plus top prize of €500,000.

Lotto chiefs said over 30c of every €1 spent on the EuroMillions game goes to good causes across Ireland.

In June this year one lucky winner, who bought their ticket at Beaumont, Dublin, took home a cool €93.9m.

They shared their win with another player in Belgium.

However, Dolores McNamara holds the record for the largest lottery win after collecting over €115m in 2005.
