Liz steps out in style with new beau

FORMER junior minister Liz O'Donnell was happy to pose alongside her new partner for the first time in public for a charity that is close to her heart.

The former deputy leader of the PDs, who is dating John White, a managing partner in Beauchamps Solicitors, was out in style to support the Chernobyl Children's Art Campaign this week. There were plenty of well-known faces out at event at Ely Place in Dublin, including Bono's wife and charity worker, Ali Hewson, and their daughters Eve and Jordan Hewson.

Ms O'Donnell, who has been involved in advocacy work since exiting politics following the PD wipeout in the 2007 elections, is a member of the board of directors of the Chernobyl Children's Project International, which helps young people in areas in Belarus and Ukraine that were devastated following the nuclear explosion.
