HE may be a little flat-footed at times in the Dail, but Arts Minister Jimmy Deenihan showed he still has a spring in his step at the latest Guinness Book of World Records attempt.
Precisely 161 ballet dancers – accompanied by the TD – turned out 'en pointe' in an attempt at the Convention Centre in Dublin, to enter the famous book to help raise funds for the family of 'tiny dancer' Lily-Mae Morrison.
Ballet teacher Monica Loughman pledged to make a second attempt to enter the famous book shortly after they failed to break the record of 246 dancers.
