'LIFE' Christmas TV Guide: correct EastEnders' listings in RTE section 'Key Notes' vocal group take to stage CWU's Christmas cheer for Our Lady's Pint for Jack & Jill

FOR all EastEnders' programme information in today's LIFE Seven-Day Christmas TV Guide please refer to the RTE listings rather than the BBC ones.

Through no fault of ours the information supplied in the BBC listings for EastEnders is incorrect.

'Key Notes' vocal group take to stage

A five-piece male vocal harmony group in their late 20s who went to Gonzaga College in Dublin are hitting the right notes this Christmas when they take to the stage to perform a medley of jazz and opera fused with contemporary and traditional Irish music.

'The Key Notes' (www.thekeynotes.com) perform unique arrangements, singing acapella in many different musical styles and genres. The group will give a Christmas Concert tomorrow night in the RDS, Ballsbridge, Dublin.

CWU's Christmas cheer for Our Lady's

Christmas cheer arrived early last week as members of the Communications Workers' Union (CWU) delivered toys to children at Our Lady's Children's Hospital, Crumlin.

CWU members, led by deputy president Cormac O'Dalaigh, brought sackloads of toys ahead of Santa Claus travelling to Our Lady's and homes across Ireland in just over a week's time.

Pint for Jack & Jill

The Jack and Jill Children's Foundation has launched a national mobile phone text campaign asking people to donate the price of a pint (€5) by texting the word PINT to 57034.

The money will go directly to support home-nursing care and respite for 300 children with severe neurological delay and brain damage, with more than €4 of every €5 donation going straight to Jack and Jill.
