Lidl to open three new stores, creating 50 jobs

THE GERMAN discount retailer Lidl is to open three new stores this month, creating over fifty positions.

The new shops are in Galway, Cork and Donegal, and will see Lidl open its 140th Irish store and brings its total number of employees to over 3,400.

The three new stores in Doughiska, Cork City Centre and Letterkenny will open on next Thursday.

Aoife Clarke, Head of Communications commented: “The excitement is building as we prepare to open our three new stores in Galway, Cork and Donegal.

"These new openings bring to 140 the number of Lidl stores in Ireland and reinforces our ongoing commitment to offering customers across Ireland top quality products at market-leading prices every day."
