A biography of the founder of the Legion of Mary, Frank Duff: A Life-Story, which will be published by Continuum on July 1, will be launched at a special reception at Blackrock College, Dublin, this Tuesday.
The biography, written by historian Finola Kennedy, describes how as a student in Blackrock Mr Duff (circled above) parodied the attitude of his Irish teacher to "foreign games" while relishing Rock's rugby triumphs.
