A MAN who was taken to hospital with a seven-inch knife in his throat two days ago is still not medically fit to be questioned by gardai.
The man, who has been named locally as Graham Peete, was rushed to Kerry General Hospital on Wednesday afternoon following an incident at a house in Meelish Close, Listowel, Co Kerry.
Gardai were alerted when he arrived at the neighbour's house in a distressed state.
Mr Peete claimed he had been stabbed, but it is understood investigating officers are not looking to question anyone else in connection with the incident.
