TAOISEACH Enda Kenny says the Cabinet have not yet discussed Education Minister Ruairi Quinn's plans to include farm and business assets in means tests for college grants.
However, Mr Kenny gave no commitment that the Government would not accept the proposals.
He denied accusations from Fianna Fail's Eamon O Cuiv that the Government had an "anti-rural bias".
"I don't accept that at all," the Taoiseach said.
Mr O Cuiv called on the Government to "not deviate" from the income-only measurement.
