TAOISEACH Enda Kenny visited a jobs blackspot yesterday to deliver a rare message -- an investment in the region.
Coca-Cola's plant in Co Wexford has already created 65 jobs and it now plans to deliver 35 new positions over the next few years. Mr Kenny visited the factory yesterday stating that the $300m (€217m) investment by the soft drinks giant was a "great vote of confidence".
He thanked Don Keough, a Coca-Cola director, describing him as a "great friend of Ireland".
Mr Keough, whose grandfather was from Wexford, was a key driver of the company's first investment in Ireland in the 1970s.
