TAOISEACH Enda Kenny and Tanaiste Eamon Gilmore are to discuss a voting pact between their two parties for next week's presidential election.
Mr Kenny was asked yesterday whether Fine Gael voters should give Labour's Michael D Higgins a second preference after giving Gay Mitchell their number one.
"I'll talk to Eamon Gilmore about that," he said. "We will consider the position later in the week.
"For us, the challenge is to get the Fine Gael vote out and vote one Mitchell."
