Killer Alexander Pacteau, was removed from his cell at the Shotts prison in Scotland, where fellow inmates turned on him, according to The Sunday Post.

In September 2015, Alexander Pacteau (21) received a life sentence with the order that he serve 23 years before he can be considered for parole.

He entered his plea before Glasgow High Court on August 11.

Prison bosses have decided to move Pacteau to Kilmarnock after receiving intelligence he had been targeted.

A prison insider told the Sunday Post that Pacteau was a solitary figure in prison life.

“He has kept himself to himself inside and struggled to make any friends behind bars,” said the source.

“He’s very much a loner, which I understand was what he was like outside too.”

A spokeswoman for the Scottish Prison Service said it did not comment on individual prisoners.
