Jewels of the empire taken over by NAMA

A RAFT of properties owned by Sean Dunne were taken over by NAMA last night.

Mr Dunne's company, DCD Builders Ltd, owes NAMA €350m and NAMA now intends to get some of this money back by either renting or selling his properties.

The properties include:

-Hume House, Ballsbridge. Eight-storey office block adjacent to Dunne's D4 Hotels. Current occupiers include Bank of Ireland and AIB.

-Hollybrook, Brighton Road, Foxrock. On one of the most prestigious roads on Dublin's southside. Other premises owned by Mr Dunne and being taken over by NAMA include a property near what was earmarked as Anglo’s new headquarters in Dublin’s Docklands, properties in Sandymount, Dublin 4; and Rathfarnham, Dublin 14.
