The winners of a lottery worth more than €3.9 million have finally come forward to claim their prize.
After much fanfare as to who Ireland's newest millionaires could be, the mystery still remains.
The syndicate are from Dublin but they have asked to keep their identities a secret/
The winning lottery ticket was purchased on October 2nd from Decie's Mini Market on on Decies Road in Ballyfermot, marking the first time the shop has sold a winning ticket.
A spokesperson for the syndicate, who asked not to be named, spoke of their excitement with the windfall.
“We’re absolutely thrilled with the news,” the said.
“We’ve been playing Lotto for a number of years now and always hoped we’d hit the jackpot one day.
"It’s a dream come true!”
Since 1988, Dublin lottery players have won €770m in jackpots.
