IT crowd to make 65 jobs
THERE was good news for the IT sector with the announcement of 65 new jobs yesterday.
Jobs Minister Richard Bruton said that US-based IT firms Engine Yard, Pinger and Commence would set up their international headquarters in Dublin over the next three years.
Engine Yard has announced the creation of 30 jobs, Pinger 15, and Commence will deliver 20 positions.
Mr Bruton said: "A key part of this Government's strategy to create employment... is to ensure that we can build on our established base of world-leading technology companies.
