DUP MP Sammy Wilson described women who want to breastfeed in the House of Commons as "exhibitionists" saying the practice should be done in private as it would attract voyeurs.

Michelle, from Magherafelt, said: “The intention behind the video was to give women a voice, as a breastfeeding mother myself.”

Michelle added: “It [the video] was for all the women whether they have a baby, whether their breastfeeding, or whether they don’t have a baby-maybe something they are considering in the future and really just to give women a voice.”

Overwhelmed by the online hits and positive comments received after the video was posted, the inspirational Mum-of-one, said: “Breastfeeding is normal, natural and it should be welcomed in all of our society.”

Michelle’s advice to new Mum’s and Mother’s to be is to seek advice on breastfeeding and to find out as much information as possible and get the support they need.
