GARDAI have sought the assistance of international police in a bid to find the relatives of a man whose body was discovered in a vacant house.
The body of Slawomir Marerewicz (59), who was originally from Poland, remains in a morgue three days after it was discovered in an unoccupied house in St Stephen's Terrace in Tralee, Co Kerry.
The body of Mr Marerewicz, who had addiction problems, was discovered by workmen, slumped on the ground at lunchtime on Tuesday.
His remains were taken to Kerry General Hospital, where a post-mortem examination was carried out.
Gardai are hoping that with the help of Interpol they will be able to trace his family and return his remains to Poland for burial.
