Dickie Rock will be back at the Regency Hotel, Dublin, on December 4, 5 and 6, along with a gig there on New Year's Eve. Then Dickie starts a nationwide tour headlining the Reelin in The Showband Years show, hosted by Ronan Collins. The tour kicks off in the Wexford Opera House on December 30, and runs until March 1, 2012.
RSA cricket challenge winner
STUART McConnell was the lucky winner of our competition with Cricket Ireland. Stuart, from Killester in Dublin, correctly guessed that Stuart Thompson would win the Aengus Fanning Award for International Emerging Player of the Year, sponsored by the Sunday Independent Cricket Society, at the recent RSA Cricket Ireland awards.
