Households to experience water shortages in Dublin city today

Households in north Dublin city will experience reduced water pressure and, in some cases, a total loss of water supply today.

Dublin City Council have advised households the inconvenience is as a result of the ongoing Luas Cross City Line works.

The areas affected are: Cabra, Phibsborough, Glasnevin, Drumcondra, Whitehall, Santry, Donnycarney, Marino, Beaumont and Artane.

The council are letting homeowners know that a number of water tankers will be made available for the day,

They are also advising people to ring 01 8643634 (01 6796186 after 5pm) if they have any queries.
