Fans are expected to travel from across the country to see him – and the capital’s hotels are getting in on the action.

A standard double room at The Gresham Hotel will cost €395 for the weekend the country singer is set to entertain hundreds of thousands in Croke Park.

The room would usually value at around €200 to €250 for an average weekend.

The Belvedere Hotel usually charges €199 for a twin room but from July 25 to July 27 prices are hiked to almost €300.

The Croke Park Hotel sold out almost immediately with rooms costing €235 for the weekend.

The usual charge for a double room for midweek would cost €135.

A room The Clarion Hotel for two people sharing would usually cost around €130 to €150 during the summer but when Brooks arrives, fans can expect to pay €250.

Some 240,000 tickets for the three nights at Croke Park sold out within 90 minutes, according to Aiken Promotions.

Two concerts were originally scheduled for July 25 26 – a third concert date for July 27 was added this morning to cater for demand. All three dates are now sold out.
