Healy gets tackled by the clampers – again

Cian Healy (inset) and his car outside the Shelbourne Hotel.

Cian Healy fell victim to the clampers yet again yesterday – when his trademark Land Rover Defender was caught outside the Shelbourne Hotel in Dublin.

Just last month, the clampers managed to chain a clamp around a massive front wheel and they were in action again yesterday when the behemoth vehicle was parked illegally in a taxi bay.

But the Ireland prop was showing no signs of pressure or ill-will towards the clampers as he and captain Jamie Heaslip left the team hotel for a stroll.

It is understood that Healy's €40,000 car is too high for the hotel's car park and this is why it was parked outside on St Stephen's Green at the time.
