Hollywood actor Colin Farrell happily posed for selfies with children who suffer from Mitochondrial Disease - a debilitating condition which causes physical, developmental, and cognitive disabilities.
The Hollywood star was visibly moved as he met members of the Katie Rose Foundation, which offers support to patients and their families.
There is no known cure or treatment for sufferers of the rare genetic condition. The disease, which affects 150 children in Ireland today, kills more children than all childhood cancers combined.
