Independent.ie readers are sending in their snaps, which show the extent of the flooding in parts of the country.

This is the latest rounds of flooding to hit the country with the last batch of floods affecting Donegal and Tyrone. These floods were captured by entreprenuer Matthew Kelly with his drone, for his start-up business Dronevideos.ie.

Ireland has been suffering from floods for years - and the lessons don't seem to have been learned over that time.
