Guinness Storehouse is top visitor draw
THE enduring appeal of the black stuff has kept the ever-popular Guinness Storehouse at the top of the list of visitor must-sees.
The attraction in the brewery in James Street, Dublin, drew 1.08 million visitors last year, an increase of 61,532 on 2011.
Old favourites Dublin Zoo (1.03 million) and the Cliffs of Moher in Co Clare (874,000) held the number two and three spots.
The Failte Ireland list also included relatively new attractions The Science Gallery in Trinity College Dublin and Tayto Park in Co Meath, which had 302,000 and 391,000 visitors respectively last year.
