GSOC firm tried to sell 'bugging' device to Garda

The British firm which carried out a security sweep of the Garda Siochana Ombudsman Commission's headquarters offered to sell the Garda equipment similar to one of the devices at the centre of the 'bugging' saga.
Officials from the Verrimus firm met Garda technical experts while they were in Dublin for the sweep.
The latest twist in the saga came as Taoiseach Enda Kenny indicated the Government would "review" the role and structure of the Ombudsman.
