Green luas line reopened after power failure
The Luas green line is now back in operation.
The entire green line service, which stretches from St Stephen's Green to Brides Glen, had been cancelled this morning due to a power outage.
In an updated statement this morning, a Luas spokesperson said the Luas green line services have been fully restored. Delays are expected for a short period.
Earlier this morning, spokesperson Dervla Brophy said the disruption to the service was caused by a power failure. Workers had been trying to fix the problem since the early hours, she said.

A statement on the Luas website said: "We would like to apologise to all passengers affected by the disruption and thank them for their patience."
This is the second disruption to the service in 24 hours.
Yesterday evening, thousands of commuters were left frustrated when the service was cancelled as lightning hit the green Luas line at rush hour.
“I couldn’t say with certainty that [this morning's outage] is actually linked, but there is a probability that the two are connected... there was a power outage on the green line yesterday around the peak time at 5pm," Ms Brophy said.
