'Great buzz' in the air as Daithi prepares to marry his rose Rita
HE has received bedroom performance tips from a priest during his premarital course -- and Daithi O Se is looking forward to leaving the bachelor life behind.
Mr O Se (36) was back on home turf in Dingle, Co Kerry, yesterday where he will marry former Rose of Tralee entrant Rita Talty (29) this afternoon.
He revealed that for the first time in his life, he had an inkling of how a Kerry footballer must feel on the eve of an All-Ireland.
"I can only imagine that it's like a Kerry footballer -- training all year through the Munster final, quarter final and semi final and now we're here," Mr O Se told the Irish Independent.
"There's a great feeling and a great buzz around the place and it's all very, very exciting."
Earlier he told Today FM's 'Ray D'Arcy Show' about his unlikely mentor in the bedroom department.
"At the premarital course that you have to go through, with your man who wasn't even married, he was telling you: 'When you're inside in the bed with your wife on the first night, remember you're not tuning in a radio,'" he said.
Looking very relaxed and clearly excited about what lay ahead, the west Kerry native proudly showed off his wedding ring, designed by a local jeweller.
The wedding band in white and yellow gold is encrusted with a single diamond and inside is inscribed with their names.
After the wedding, the couple is heading to Amsterdam, where they will depart on a cruise taking in Sweden, Finland, Estonia and Russia.
