Google deleted mistakenly collected Wi-Fi data in Ireland

Google Inc., owner of the world’s largest search engine, said it deleted mistakenly-collected data sent via Wi-Fi networks in Ireland over the weekend.

The company is also contacting data protection authorities in other relevant countries about disposing remaining data as quickly as possible, the company said on its European policy today.
