FORMER Green party TD Paul Gogarty is making a name as a musician – but don't expect any more foul- mouthed rock and roll outbursts.

Gogarty (pictured) says that he regrets the outburst during the last Dail when he said to Labour's Emmet Stagg: "F**k you, Deputy Stagg." Footage became an internet hit after the incident in December 2009 in a debate on welfare cuts.

Gogarty is now pursuing a music career under the name 'His Sweet Surprise'.

His track 'Know You All My Life' rides high in an internet download chart. It's at number five in the 7digital chart – sharing the top 10 with stars including Adele, James Arthur, Olly Murs and Bruno Mars.

Speaking on Phantom FM radio, he said that "of course" he regretted the foul- mouthed insult, but he added: "I don't regret getting frustrated because what I was saying was I disagree with you guys in opposition, but you're totally right, this Budget is unfair".
