Gardai stop to help driver with flat tyre and end up impounding car

When gardai in Dublin stopped to help out a driver who had a flat tyre, they ended up doling out penalty points to the driver.

The driver had a flat tyre but no jack or wheel brace when Pearse Street gardai stopped to help.

But on closer inspection, gardai discorvered that the car also had no tax, NCT, or insurance.

The car was impounded, and gardai said penalty points and a court appearance will follow for the driver in question.
