Gardai seek help for missing teen girl

GARDAI are seeking the public’s assistance in tracing a teenage girl who has gone missing.

Bernadette O’Connor (16) was last seen at 5:15pm in Ballinteer, south Dublin on St Patrick’s Day and has not returned to her place of residence since then.

She is described as being 5’6” tall with long black hair. She was last seen wearing a grey Adidas tracksuit and runners.

Anyone with information about her whereabouts is urged to contact gardai at Swords.

Meanwhile gardai are also appealing to the public for assistance in tracing a 60-year-old man who has been missing from his home for more than eight days.

Sean Watters from Laurel Grove, Dundalk, was last seen in the area of Inner Relief Road in Dundalk town on March 12.

He is described as 5ft 4in, approximately 12 stone in weight, has fine grey hair with a receding hairline and blue eyes.

He often wears glasses.

When last seen, he was wearing a brown jacket and trousers of some sort.
