Gardai rule out foul play in Gaeltacht death
GARDAI investigating the death of a Lithuanian national in a house in the Donegal Gaeltacht have ruled out foul play.
The body of the 48-year-old man was found on Thursday evening in a rented house in Bunbeg, Co Donegal.
A friend of the deceased man raised the alarm when he was unable to gain entry to the bungalow in the townland of Meenaduff and gardai attended the scene.
The body was moved to Letterkenny General Hospital and the area was initially sealed off pending a forensic examination.
A post mortem examination carried out at Letterkenny General Hospital determined that he had died of natural causes.
The man is believed to have been unemployed and living in the area for some time.
