Gardai release woman held in kidnap case

A WOMAN arrested in connection with the abduction of a man earlier this month was released without charge last night.

Ciaran Noonan (29) was kidnapped in Dublin's East Wall on October 20 because of money he owed to drug dealers. He was attacked and bundled into the back of a black Volkswagen Golf.

Gardai in Store Street arrested a woman in her early 20s on Saturday morning.

A file is being prepared for the DPP following her release last night.

Serious concern continues for Mr Noonan who, when last seen, was wearing a light blue hoodie, grey tracksuit bottoms and Converse runners.
