Members of the Garda Representative Association have voted to reject the terms offered under the Lansdowne Road Agreement.

The vote count was 86.5pc for ‘No’, and 10.9pc for ‘Yes’.

The Central Executive Committee of the GRA made no recommendation in this ballot, a statement from the GRA said.

The Central Executive Committee will meet during the forthcoming week to discuss the implications of this outcome.
