Gardai know gang member who targeted slain criminal
GARDAI believe they have identified the man who "fingered" drug dealer Paul Cullen, pictured below, before he was shot dead in a Dublin pub at the weekend.
The man, who was an enforcer for slain gangland boss, Eamon Dunne, was drinking in the Cabra House pub before Cullen was murdered.
Investigating officers are now satisfied that the enforcer pinpointed where Cullen was sitting in the premises with his wheelchair-bound father and brother on Sunday night.
Gardai were already aware that the gunman knew exactly where his victim was as he walked in the front door and then immediately ran to his left.
He singled out Cullen, hitting him in the upper body with the initial couple of shots from his handgun.
As his 25-year-old victim slumped to the ground, the gunman shot him twice in the head in an execution-style killing.
Cullen was a former associate of Dunne, who was shot dead at another Cabra pub, the Fassaugh House in April 2010.
