Gardai investigating a robbery of a post office inEnniskerry, County Wicklow have arrested and charged two men in their twenties.

Gardai said today that two males (20 and 21) entered the premises armed with weapons and threatened staff and customers.

They left empty handed and no injuries were reported.

Both were arrested near the scene a short time after the incident.

They were detained at Bray Garda Station under Section 4 of the Criminal Justice Act, 1984 and were charged with offences in connection with this investigation.

They are both due to appear before the District Court, Criminal Courts of Justice, today.
